Targeted Impact: We are ‘on the ground’ and listen to our partner villages to learn what projects they think will do the most good.

Leveraged Impact: We prioritize projects for the ‘biggest bang for the buck’. Our partner villages are tremendously resourceful. The phrase ‘a little goes a long way’ was never more appropriate than when used here.

Immediate Impact: We believe our donors’ natural generosity is encouraged when they can see the tangible results of their involvement.

Lasting Impact: We focus our resources on projects that address root cause problems (as tempting as it is to chase after the symptoms).

Cultural Exchange

People in our partner villages give generously of what they have – themselves, their lives, culture and schools. Through NTC’s website and opportunities to visit our partner villages, we create the ability for people ‘here’ and ‘there’ to meet and know their ‘fellow villagers’

Efficiency

We rely on the volunteer efforts of many individuals and organizations, ensuring that financial donations support programs. Over 93% of our budget goes toward programs that change lives.

Effectiveness and Accountability

We work with international and local NGOs such as United Planet that have proven track records of accountability and feedback to ensure programs (such as our computer/printer/photocopier project) are carried out exactly as intended.
