It is student curiosity, awareness, and positive, active energy that has laid the foundation for NTC’s relationship with Kwala.  Students such as Brendan Duggan, a 7th grader from Oak Hill Middle School, have started clubs and raised both awareness and funds at their schools. NTC encourages others of all grades and ages to do the same. It only takes one motivated and ambitious person to make an impact.

For Newton Students

If you are a student from Newton interested in getting involved with NTC and Kwala, there may already be an existing club at your school! Students at Mason-Rice Elementary School, Oak Hill Middle School, and Newton South High School are already involved, and please Contact Us to see what activities a club at your school is taking on. For Boston University Students

NTC has just initiated a new club at Boston University, involving students who are particularly interested in African Studies, Economic Development, and International Education. The goal of the club is to engage undergraduate students in open discussion about issues facing the African continent and the manner in which NGO’s and governments address those issues.
